What is Coaching as a Service?

The rise of volume coaching platforms has brought low-cost coaching to large numbers of people in organisations, meaning leadership support now follows a familiar pattern: premium coaching for the C-suite, volume platforms for everyone else. Your mid-to-senior managers, those who are now leading other leaders rather than individuals, are on the platform.

That solution does not match their need.

The challenges they face are every bit as complex as those at the top. Building an effective leadership team for the first time. Driving rapid organisational change. Navigating the transition into a role where you are leading leaders, not individuals. These require the same level of coaching experience as the C-suite. A full senior coaching programme, with all the stakeholder work and infrastructure that entails, was designed for a different context. It was not built for this tier, and it was not priced for it.

Coaching as a Service is designed for something different: the same level of expertise, focused on the specific challenge in front of your leader, without the surrounding architecture they do not need. A promotion transition might take three sessions. A team alignment issue, two or three. Your leaders get what they need, when they need it, at a cost that reflects the actual scope of the work.

Coaching hours are allocated flexibly across your leadership population each month, scaled to your team's size, and distributed to whoever needs them most.

Who is Coaching as a Service for?

Coaching as a Service is designed for HR Directors and CHROs in large corporate organisations who need to deploy expert-level leadership coaching across a broad management population, without the cost or rigidity of full senior coaching programmes for each individual.

The coaching recipients are mid-to-senior managers: those leading other leaders, from second-line managers through to business unit directors. These are the C-minus-1 and C-minus-2 layer in your organisation, the leaders who will run your business in the years ahead.

Common situations where organisations use Coaching as a Service:

  • Role transitions: promotions to a higher level or lateral moves into a broader scope, where the leader is navigating new scale, new stakeholders, or an unfamiliar business context.
  • A team alignment or performance challenge requiring focused, senior-level intervention.
  • Significant organisational change: a restructuring, a strategic pivot, or a substantial shift in team composition, where a leader must quickly establish authority in a new structure, rebuild team alignment, and maintain performance while the ground is still moving.

If your organisation operates from Singapore, Hong Kong, or Dubai across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, or the wider Asia Pacific region, and you are responsible for developing leadership capability across a substantial management population, this was designed for you.

Because we work on a just-in-time basis with clear focus on the presenting issue, cost per issue resolved is significantly lower than a traditional senior coaching engagement. The quality of coaching you need; at the price point you can afford.

24/7 support

Effective leadership development requires both coaching and learning: you cannot coach through a knowledge gap. To maximise the impact of every session, TonyLatimer.ai gives your leaders 24/7 access to the Profitable Leadership training library, ensuring coaching time is focused on application, growth, and real change.

Flexible plans, designed for your needs

For on-site coaching, we work with you to designate a specific day each month when coaching hours are made available at your offices. A coaching unit is a block of time between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm on the agreed day, during which five coaching hours can be utilised.聽For remote coaching by phone or video call, we provide a direct diary link so your leaders can book sessions on days and times in the month聽that suit them,聽subject to availability. Your monthly coaching hours can be allocated flexibly across your team, whether as consecutive individual breakthrough sessions or divided into group coaching cohorts for rapid team development.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Coaching as a Service and how does it work?

Coaching as a Service (CaaS) is an on-demand leadership coaching model designed for organisations that need to deploy expert-level coaching across a broad management population, without the cost or rigidity of full senior coaching programmes. Each month, your organisation receives an allocation of coaching hours that can be distributed flexibly across your leadership team, directed to whoever needs support most. When a leader needs coaching, they book directly with Tony Latimer (MCC, BCC) for a focused engagement on the specific challenge in front of them. A promotion transition might take two or three sessions. A team alignment issue, similar. There is no minimum programme length, no fixed structure, and no overhead your leaders do not need.

How is this different from a volume coaching platform?

Volume coaching platforms are designed for scale and typically match employees to coaches from a broad pool. They are a reasonable solution for first-line managers and individual contributors who need access to general coaching support. Coaching as a Service is different in two ways. First, the coaches: all engagements are delivered by Tony Latimer, a Master Certified Coach (MCC) with extensive experience coaching senior leaders in complex organisations. Second, the focus: engagements target the specific challenge in front of your leader, rather than following a structured programme. For your mid-to-senior managers at the C-minus-1 and C-minus-2 level, the depth and focus of the coaching matters. This was built for that tier.

How long does a typical engagement take?

Most engagements run between two and five sessions, depending on the complexity of the challenge. A promotion transition into a new scope typically takes three sessions: one to establish context and the primary development focus, one to work through the key challenges, and one to consolidate learning and plan ahead. A team alignment or performance issue may be resolved in two or three. A more complex organisational change situation, where a leader is navigating structural change while maintaining team performance, might extend to four or five. Because we work on a just-in-time basis, engagements close when the presenting challenge is resolved, not when a pre-agreed programme ends.

What support do my leaders have between sessions?

Between coaching sessions, leaders have 24/7 access to TonyLatimer.ai, the Profitable Leadership training library. This covers the core frameworks and tools your leaders need across the most common leadership challenges: building high-performing teams, navigating difficult conversations, managing performance, leading change, and transitioning into new leadership roles. The library ensures that coaching time is focused on application and growth, rather than filling knowledge gaps that structured learning can address more efficiently.
